Custom e-commerce · Westport, Connecticut
An elegant gallery, powered by custom commerce.
A complete website and custom backend for a gallery of distinctive furniture, lighting, and objects. Refined design meets the practical work of managing one-of-a-kind inventory and serving collectors and design professionals.
The approach
L’Antiquaire’s collection calls for a considered presentation: generous photography, restrained typography, an amber identity, and clear paths through furniture, lighting, mirrors, decorative objects, and Bespoke pieces.
We designed and built the WordPress and WooCommerce experience around the gallery’s inquiry-led sales process. Visitors can explore detailed photographs, search the collection, review dimensions, save a printable tear sheet, and contact the gallery about a specific piece.
Behind that calm storefront is a purpose-built administration system. Catalog management, availability, merchandising, pricing, and customer selections work together in a focused interface for the gallery team.
The product experience
Generous photography and multiple views sit alongside dimensions, origin, condition, pricing, and availability. Direct inquiries, shareable links, and printable tear sheets help collectors and designers take the next step.

Behind the storefront
WooCommerce provides the product foundation. Our custom development brings the gallery’s day-to-day work into a connected set of staff tools.
A focused product editor brings photographs, descriptions, dimensions, categories, and manual inventory references together. Search and sorting support the way staff identify individual pieces.
Available, on-hold, and sold states, a dedicated Holds view, and optional quantity controls reflect how unique pieces and sets move through the gallery.
Staff can arrange pieces within categories, manage Bespoke and Recent Archives, and curate homepage slides and Featured Pieces without rebuilding a page.
Regional public-price visibility, per-piece display controls, and separate retail and trade-net values support the gallery’s different audiences and sales policies.
A customer directory and selection composer let staff prepare tailored presentations with the appropriate retail or trade pricing, discounts, and a preview for review.
Detailed image galleries, enlargement, contextual inquiries, shareable product links, and printable tear sheets help collectors and designers evaluate and discuss a piece.
This project brings a distinctive public website and custom operational tools together. We take the same approach to retail e-commerce, product catalogs, trade platforms, and customer portals: plan the experience and the system as one.
