Dalton Coatings X website design
Pavement products, technical information, and factory-direct ordering.
A factory-direct commerce platform for pavement products, connecting an established manufacturer with contractors and buyers in New York and across the country.
Project brief & approach
Connect technical product information with ordering.
Dalton Coatings X presents factory-direct pavement products to contractors and buyers across the United States. The website’s design challenge was to connect product education with purchasing, so a visitor researching a particular type of work could find the relevant catalog section and continue toward an order.
Blacktop sealers, crack fillers, patch repair products, traffic paint, and recreational coatings form distinct product families. Those categories provide a practical starting point for discovery, with technical product information supporting the closer evaluation of an individual item.
The gallery shows how the homepage, shop, company information, and product categories fit together. The storefront introduces the manufacturer while giving buyers direct routes into the materials they are researching. Photography and category presentation support that structure across the shopping experience.
The work brings catalog architecture, product-page presentation, and the purchasing journey into the same design. Organizing the information around product use helps the manufacturer explain a specialized offering while maintaining a coherent storefront for buyers with different needs.
What the work delivered: a factory-direct commerce website connecting product families, technical information, and purchasing paths. Customers can move from a broad product category toward information about the materials relevant to their job.
The project is relevant to manufacturers whose websites need to serve both product research and online buying. Customers in New York and elsewhere can explore the same catalog, with nationwide positioning explained in the site content.
